Alexander Park, MD, FACS

Alexander Park MD, FACS graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine with a combined M.D./B.A. degree in 1991 at the age of 23. He graduated with honors and was vice president of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He completed general surgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland in 1997. Since then, Dr. Park has been in private practice in the Atlanta area. Dr. Park is board certified in general surgery and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Georgia Surgical Society, and Medical Association of Georgia among others. He is the chairman of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta, responsible for overseeing the numerous clinical research trials conducted by the Saint Joseph's Research Institute. Dr. Park has extensive experience in general surgery involving breast cancer, gastrointestinal surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery, and endocrine surgery.  He is now pleased to offer minimally invasive office based surgical procedures for varicose vein disease including ClosureFast, formally Venefit procedure (radio frequency ablation of the greater saphenous vein), ambulatory phlebectomy, and sclerotherapy treatment for veins as a member of the VeinInnovations medical staff. Dr. Park is married and lives in Atlanta with his wife and children.    

David Park, MD, FACS

Dr. David Park received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and is Doctor of Medicine in an accelerated, combined BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating with Honors in 1988. In 1987, Dr. Park received a fellowship at the Mid-America Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Hospital, where he conducted clinical cardiovascular research to be presented at the annual American College or Cardiology meeting in Spring of 1988. Dr. Park completed his general surgery residency training at Emory University, serving as resident general surgeon from 1988 to 1992 and chief resident surgeon from 1992 to 1993.  He has been in private practice in general surgery since 1993 with a special interest in hernias, advanced laparoscopic surgeries, thyroid and parathyroid diseases, and breast disorders. Dr. Park also has a keen interest in various vein disorders and offers comprehensive office-based procedures for treatment of venous reflux disease as a member of the VeinInnovations medical staff. Dr. Park  is a staff member of Northside, St. Joseph Hospital, and Emory Johns Creek Hospital. He also served as a section chief of general and colorectal surgery at St. Joseph Hospital from 1999-2004. Dr. Park lives in Peachtree Corners with his wife and five children. He is an active member of Perimeter Church.

Laura Egan, RN, APRN

Laura Egan, RN, APRN, has joined Vein Innovations as Clinical Manager at the Johns Creek location. She received her Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina in 1974, and her Certification in Nurse-Midwifery at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1978. Obstetrics was her primary focus for 18 years. She practiced office-gynecology for nine years. From there, she worked at Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center as manager of the Pain Center, and then manager of Pre-op for 8 years. Laura and her husband have recently relocated to the area, so this was a perfect opportunity for Laura to work with the two highly skilled surgeons she had known at Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center- Drs. David and Alex Park. Laura enjoys playing golf, skiing, and hanging out with her family.

Ashley Sanford, RVT

Ashley joined the team as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) at the Johns Creek location. She graduated from Georgia Northwestern Technical College in 2011. Following graduation she worked for a Vascular Surgeon group performing various types of vascular ultrasounds before joining our team. Before going into ultrasound Ashley worked in the dental field managing and doing administrative work for several years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son and husband, being outside and taking vacations.

Lucille Pretlow

Lucille received her degree in Computer Science in 1975 and worked primarily in that field for the first 10 years of her career. After 10 years of managing computers she transitioned into managing and training people. She received her first supervisor position in 1985 and has continued to move upwards to develop stronger leadership roles in the Medical field.  Lucy has worked with large hospital systems such as Orlando Regional, MD Anderson Cancer Center (affiliates of OR), Oviedo Ambulatory Center (affiliates of OR), Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Marcus Institute to help develop, operate and manage their computer systems while training staff to work in all areas of  reimbursement and revenue cycle processes. Lucille started her life career of knowledge in the Medical field with Veininnovations in 2008 as the Billing Manager promoted to Director of Operations in 2009. In her role as Director of operations she is responsible for the daily operations of three medical clinics and the administration office. This includes Payroll, Employee benefits, HR matters, HIPPA complaints, Provider credentialing, Medical records complaints, accounts receivables and accounts payable.

Lucy lives in Marietta GA and has two children and a grand daughter. She has membership with GMGMA and NFGMA Medical Associations.

Holly Jones, RVT

Holly is a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) and  joined the VeinInnovations Johns Creek team in 2014.  She initially received her B.S. degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland in 1991 and established a successful career in recruiting and human resources.  With a family history of vascular disease, Holly decided to change her career path in 2012 and return to school fulltime to fulfill her long-time dream of working in Ultrasonography.  She earned her Certification in Echocardiography in 2014 from Cambridge Institute of Health and Allied Medicine and is also a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).  Holly has been a patient as well having undergone 4 successful radiofrequency closures and several ambulatory phlebectomies.
