Dr. Alexander Park, MD, FACS, is a distinguished surgeon with an impressive academic background. He earned his combined M.D./B.A. degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine in 1991 at the age of 23, graduating with honors and serving as vice president of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1997, and has since been in private practice in the Atlanta area.
As a board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Park brings extensive expertise in various surgical specialties, including breast cancer, gastrointestinal surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery, and endocrine surgery. Additionally, he is skilled in performing minimally invasive office-based surgical procedures for varicose vein disease, such as endovenous ablation for saphenous reflux disease, ambulatory phlebotomy for varicose vein removal, and sclerotherapy treatment.
Dr. Alex Park, along with his brother Dr. David Park, co-owns VeinInnovations and Park Surgical Specialists, both situated in close proximity. His commitment to providing cutting-edge surgical care and personalized treatments makes him an invaluable asset to the medical community.
Dr. Park resides in Atlanta with his wife and children, cherishing quality time with his loved ones when not in service to his patients.
ALEXANDER PARK, MD, FACS
Dr. David Park is an experienced vein specialist, holding both a Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he graduated with with Alpha Omega Alpha academic honors in 1988. During his final year in medical school, he was selected as a clinical cardiovascular research fellow at the esteemed Mid-America Heart Institute at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas city. His research work was presented at the prestigious American College of Cardiology meeting in 1988.
After completing his 5 year general surgery residency training at Emory University in 1993, Dr. Park embarked on a successful surgical career in private practice. In 2006, he along with several other surgeons established a large, prominent single specialty surgical practice in north Atlanta which grew to 20+ surgeons over a 10-year period.
In 2013, Dr. Park and his brother, Dr. Alexander Park, established VeinInnovations-Johns Creek in a northern suburb of Atlanta. Since then, together with their highly skilled staff, they continue to offer comprehensive, office-based vein treatments at the Johns Creek office.
Dr. Park enjoys various outdoor activities in his leisure time and worships at Perimeter church in Johns Creek. Our Team
Lucille received her degree in Computer Science in 1975 and worked primarily in that field for the first 10 years of her career. After 10 years of managing computers she transitioned into managing and training people. She received her first supervisor position in 1985 and has continued to move upwards to develop stronger leadership roles in the medical field. Lucy has worked with large hospital systems such as Orlando Regional, MD Anderson Cancer Center (affiliates of OR), Oviedo Ambulatory Center (affiliates of OR), Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Marcus Institute to help develop, operate and manage their computer systems while training staff to work in all areas of reimbursement and revenue cycle processes. Lucille started her life career of knowledge in the medical field with Veininnovations in 2008 as the Billing Manager and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2009. In her role she is responsible for payroll, employee benefits, HR matters, HIPPA complaints, provider credentialing, medical records complaints, accounts receivables and accounts payable.Lucy lives in Marietta and has two children and a granddaughter. She has memberships with GMGMA and NFGMA Medical Associations.
LUCY PRETLOW
Genise Godfrey, RN joined Vein Innovations in September 2022. She received her B.S. degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1986. She has been a neonatal intensive care nurse for 36 years. She loved working with premies and their families but was ready for something less stressful.
She is full of energy and loves learning new skills and providing great care for her patients.
She enjoys spending time with her husband of 31 years and her grown children, Bradley and Alexis. Her hobbies are traveling, water sports and going to concerts.
GENISE GODFREY
Elena Stan-Lockhart joined the Practice in October, 2021. She has 15 years of health care experience consisting of bedside and outpatient medical-surgical nursing with Emory Healthcare, teaching for Emory University School of Nursing, intermediate management, and mentoring new generations into compasionate health care. Elena has a calling into caring for people and she believes in ”treating others the way you like to be treated or better.” She is passionate about providing high standards of care, learning new skills in the medical field, promoting awareness for preventive care, and empowering patients and families with knowledge in their health care journey.
Elena completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Georgia State University in 2006, and graduated with a Master’s in Science of Nursing with University of Phoenix in 2013. In addition, Elena loves her family, children, and grandchildren while she enjoys nature, traveling, and motorcycle riding.
ELENA STAN-LOCKHART
ASHLEY SANFORD
Ashley joined the team as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) at the Johns Creek location. She graduated from Georgia Northwestern Technical College in 2011. Following graduation she worked for a Vascular Surgeon group performing various types of vascular ultrasounds before joining our team. Before going into ultrasound Ashley worked in the dental field managing and doing administrative work for several years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband, being outside and taking vacations.
Wanda joined the VeinInnovations team in 2013 as a Medical Assistant. She trained at St. Therese Medical Center in Illinois. Since relocating to Atlanta, she's worked at St. Joseph's Hospital and the pain management center at Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center. Wanda feels called to serve others and looks forward to demonstrating that day to day in our office by helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Wanda has a twin brother and a set of twin sisters, along with two wonderful children and a beautiful granddaughter. She loves taking walks in the park, reading, going to church and spending time with friends and family.

Maggie Rimawi
Maggie joined the Veininnovations team as an RVT in 2021 after graduating from North Georgia Nursing Academy. Prior to graduating from ultrasound school, I worked several years at a hair salon assisting and helping lead all the stylists. During my free time I enjoy shopping, spending time on the lake, and love hanging out with my family and dog.
ASHALENA WOODS
Ashalena Woods became a valuable part of VeinInnovations in 2013. Her educational background includes a degree in Business Administration and Fashion Merchandising from Bauder College. Ashalena's journey in the healthcare industry started as an office coordinator at Orlando Regional Healthcare, and she continued to progress in administrative and office manager roles at renowned healthcare organizations, including The Marcus Institute and Child Neurology Associates. Her passion lies in hearing patient success stories, and having experienced the impact of varicose vein treatment herself, she is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ashalena's leisure time revolves around antique shopping and baking delightful cake pops and macaroons with her daughter.
Trienna joined VeinInnovations in June 2018 as a Precertification Coordinator. She attended Oglethorpe University and received her BA degree in Social Work with a concentration in Sociology and Psychology. Before joining VeinInnovations, Trienna worked with several major healthcare organizations such as Cigna, HCA, Peachstate and United Healthcare. Trienna has worked in the medical field for 18 years and enjoys being a knowledgeable resource to patients and other healthcare administrators and continually improving the quality of care each patient receives. In her spare time Trienna enjoys traveling, shopping and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.

Shin Ae moved to the United States from Korea in 2010 for college. She graduated from the University of Kennesaw and received a BS degree in Biology. Before joining VeinInnovations, she worked as a medical assistant at an internal medicine clinic. During her free time, she enjoys watching movies and dramas and playing games. She also loves hanging out with her dogs.
AYESHA RAZI
Meet Ayesha Razi, an individual with a diverse range of experiences and a passion for helping others. She embarked on a new chapter in life by moving to the United States in 2009, seeking new opportunities and cultural experiences. She pursued a dual major in Biology and Psychology at Georgia State University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in 2022. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family and friends. Prior to joining VeinInnovations, she gained experience through internships as a manager and medical assistant. These roles enhanced her skills and provided her with insight into the healthcare industry, fostering a deep appreciation for patient care and organizational management.
